Community Donations & Drives in Utica, NY

November 21st-December 14th: Happy holidays from our families to yours! For the past 15 years we've donated to different local schools and organizations to help put a smile on the faces of our local kids in need. Whether it's donations of wish list gift items or most needed personal items, we know the importance of giving back to our local community, especially during the holidays.

This year, we had a giving tree in our showroom supporting The House of the Good Shepherd in Utica, NY and donated 175 gifts of most needed items and wish list items to this integral program in our community that supports children in foster care. 

Your donation of toys, books, activities, or personal items, brings joy and hope to the babies and children in our area during the holidays. From our families to yours, thank you, and happy holidays!

October 1st-November 1st: We held our 5th Annual Coats for Kids Coat Drive at all of the stores in the Steet Ponte Auto Group! 

In Oneida county, our stores on Commercial Drive donated 200 coats, 101 hats and mittens, and 4 pairs of snow pants to Utica & Rome Elementary Schools! (Stores include: Steet Toyota of Yorkville, Steet Ponte Nissan, Steet Ponte Mazda, Steet Ponte Ford Lincoln, Steet Ponte VW, and United Auto Sales of Utica.) 

In Herkimer county, Steet Ponte Chevy on Route 28 donated 102 coats and 106 hats and mittens to Herkimer & CVA Elementary Schools! 

In Fulton County, Steet Toyota of Johnstown on N. Comrie Ave, donated 45 coats, 88 hats and mittens, and 25 pairs of snow pants to the Mayfield and Gloversville Elementary Schools!

From October 1st-November 1st, 2022, we held our FIRST ever Snow Tire Giveaway! We wanted to give back to the community as we go into the long winter season in Upstate New York, and we gave away 3 sets of snow tires to 3 lucky winners! We encouraged everyone to nominate a person that you know who deserves and could really use a new set of snow tires to keep your vehicle safe this winter. We had dozens of entries, and it was so heartwarming to see how many people were paying it forward to those they love! Whether it was a hard working family member who pulls long hours at work, or a friend who could use a helping hand, we are happy we could play a small part in helping your winter be a little safer this year!
